easy to put together, sturdy and nice looking

It was fairly easy to put together once we figured out how the brackets that hold the shelves go the first time the whole rack fell and all the brackets came off. It is made well and appears to be sturdy.

I've have to build it twice now because I didn't measure correctly so learn from my mistake. I would advice you to plan what you want to put in each shelf and measure the heights twice, always taking into account that after you hammer down the shelves they will get lower. I would urge you to give yourself more space than you think you need. Definitely use to towel to something when you hammer the shelves and please be careful not to break or make a dent on a rack like I did. Seeing my small hall closet organized brings me so much joy.

This was pretty easy to assemble if you follow the instructions. It seemed a bit flimsy at first but strengthened considerably with assembly. It easily held all I intended to put on it. It said it holds 600lbs, but I didn’t even come close to that, so I can neither confirm nor argue. It’s pretty compact and I like the hanging piece for extra or easily accessible items. The directions didn’t actually mention that piece- basically use two more of the shelf placers wherever you want it and it rests on those on the posts. You’ll have two extra shelf placers which I placed on the opposite side of my hooks just incase any of the other hooks broke over time.

It is not very well made, though I think it will work. The plastic spacers are a bit too small so they don't always lock. Because of that it took several hours instead of a half hour to put it together and I'm not convinced that it won't eventually collapse. We'll see how it does now that it's full.

It would have been nice if the shelves could be put together by either way. Instead of one (1) way only.
