5 Tier Industrial Wire Shelving

This shelf is an utter nightmare to put together with just one person. Because the shelves are heavy (which is a good thing) and 60in long, one person wouldn’t be able to get the arms around it tight enough to lift it in place just the right way to get the legs to lock. Furthermore, each leg has these flimsy plastic pieces that go around them which help to lock the shelf in place. Problem is, as soon as the shelf leg openinghole gets anywhere near them, they fall off causing you to start again. After about 2 hrs and several choice words later, I discovered a hack. Use a thin piece of scotch tape to hold the plastic pieces in place long enough for me to lock it into the leg opening. Confused yet I was. See the photos, without the tap the plastic pieces gap (according to the manual that’s normal) which is the cause for 80 of the overall frustration. You don’t want to use too thick of a piece of tape or else it’ll interfere with the locking. Boy do I wish someone had told me this hours ago. You can thank me later

The shelf was easy to put together with two people. It looks great in my kitchen. The shelves have a truss support which makes them very strong and sturdy. My collection of heavy cast iron cookware and appliances are fully supported and look stylish on this shelf.
