I’ve been using the 1.05 Gallons Indoor Kitchen Composter by Vego Garden for a while now, and it’s been a great addition to my kitchen. It’s compact enough to sit neatly on the counter without taking up much space, and the design is clean and modern—definitely doesn’t look like a compost bin. What impressed me most is how quiet it is during operation. Even when running a full cycle, it doesn’t disrupt the kitchen at all. It handles everyday food scraps (vegetable peels, leftovers, coffee grounds, etc.) really well and reduces them to dry, odor-free material that’s easy to dispose of or add to outdoor compost or soil. Odor control is excellent—the carbon filter does its job, and there’s no lingering smell, even after frequent use. Cleaning is also straightforward, which makes it easy to stick with composting consistently. Overall, this is a well-designed, user-friendly composter that makes kitchen waste management simple and mess-free. A great choice for anyone living in an apartment or wanting an easy way to reduce food waste at home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've now had this for about 3 months and completed about 20 compost cycles. I do find it does a great job to slowly create dry compost from a full bucket of scraps. I like to use vego mode and will sometimes add during the cycle but usually I let it run uninterrupted. Unfortunately I couldn't use the app for long as we switched to 5G internet which isn't compatible. While I had the app tho it was helpful to check the status of the compost run (not much else). I had to clear a grinder jam a couple times but luckily it was at the end of a cycle so was easy to clean out the bucket then use the compost. I will say there is a faint smell when it's composting but not overwhelming. Very little noise. Very easy to use this composter after a few tries, and it is esthetically pleasing in the kitchen. I really like it.

My husband and I love our composter, it works well! We are happy not only to be doing something to help our environment but to have a compost that is made by us. In other words it has safe ingredients.
