Shun Kanso 6 Piece High Carbon Stainless Steel Knife Block Set

I really love this set! The blades are so sharp! The knives feel good at the grip as these are slightly textured. I love the finish on the block too. Very versatile in style and function. I will have these for years to come. I highly recommend this knife set. I immediately went online to find the shears at another retailer since Wayfair did not have the one I wanted in stock.

i liked the knife set. though the pairing knife wasn't so useful. i mainly use the utility knife.

Beautiful, quality knives - love the modern design. Knives feel good in my hand and are sharp. Only thing I don't like is that they don't sit well (slants) inside the slits in block. I owned another style of Shun knives and prefer the way they sit in the block. Overall, I'm very happy.

These knives are all blade and make for a totally different experience in cutting.

I purchased this knife set about a year ago and all knives cut as they did when they were brand new. I’m the regular “at home chef” that appreciates fine kitchen tools and I must say that these knives actually make cooking more fun. The edges were all very patient with me as I became acquainted with each knife and thankfully the honing steel provided works very well. I always ensure that the knives are clean and dried after EVERY use. If you’re looking to purchase a nice set and are hesitant because of the price; splurge, these are worth it. The only problem is that I don’t NEED any of the other beautiful knives that Shun makes; but I’ll buy them anyway. Cheers and Happy Cooking
