[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about this knife. From the branding on the box with the white capped waves of Japan, to how beautiful the knife is. The minute you unpackage it, it just stands out! It’s durable and strong without being bulky or heavy. The shine on the blade. The staining on the handle. It’ screams beauty! I instantly decided to chop an onion for dinner. My regular knife’s mean I have to go over my chops several times. With this knife it was like butter. Barely any pressure needed . 3 slices and I had perfectly diced onions. Cleaning it was even easier. A quick rinse of soap and water and a gentle paper towel wiped it right off and back to sparkly. Be careful. It’s so pretty that finger prints will show. Great quality! Now I need the whole set!

This knife is very lightweight, and makes my prep work in the kitchen so easy, it cuts quickly, and precisely. The wood handle is even beautiful. I’m looking forward to continuing to use this knife in my kitchen.
