I am definitely thrilled to have purchased this!! I have humidifiers that I use distilled water in, and buying jugs, though somewhat inexpensive, was starting to add up. The unit is easy to put together and you will hear the fan going during distillation. All you have to do is clean in between each use and start again when ready (at least letting it cool for 30 mins in between however). This water softening system is amazing. Bought it and it was delivered in 2 weeks from the United States. The only issue was I have the 3/4 pipe of my water main and the yoke connection of the system is 1” but by request they can supply 3/4 connectors. I’ve contacted Wayfair support and they got hold of manufacturer so it was delivered 3 days after the whole system. The installation process took 1 hour roughly. You just have to buy 5 feet PEX pipe, 3 ball valves, 2 female connectors (for pre filter), 2 of 12 inches long water heater connectors, 2 T-connectors, and 1 elbow (90 degree) . All of these are Push to Fit so you don’t need any professional skills to perform the job. Mind that I’m not a plumber! I replaced my water heater, also 20 years old. The water is coming out with the lime sentiment. It quickly settles. But I’m hoping it finishes. The product obviously works. I’m 75 so this thing is a bit hard for me. I didn’t realize the compartment for clean water and used water were in the back. It’s heavy to turn around for me and lifting the water is difficult. You must wash the whole thing every week. My sink is high, newer apt, I’m 4 11” and that’s lifting at chest level. I think for younger folks it’d be great but when it’s done cleaning the water there is about a days worth for me. Otherwise for what it is it’s great! It does take up one counter at my apt. The WGB32B-PB whole house water filter is an ideal "point of entry" filtration system for cleaning up well water. Unlike "point of use" RO systems that are installed to supply water to a specific faucet, the WGB32B-PB filters water from the source. This means water from every output will have passed through the three filtration stages. The stage 1 housing holds a 5-micron high-capacity polypropylene sediment filter. It removes dirt and other larger sized particles from the water. The second stage houses a 5-micron CTO coconut shell carbon block filter. Block carbon is more effective than other forms of carbon in that it is finely ground up carbon packed into a solidified block. This means they have a higher density than other types of carbon filters, and are therefore more effective in removing their targeted contaminants. The carbon block filter knocks out bad tastes and odours, removes over 90% of chlorine, and is highly effective on chemicals like pesticides, herbicides, and industrial chemicals. The third stage houses an iron and lead reducing filter. It reduces filter removes potassium, cesium, magnesium, calcium, strontium, barium, radium, chrome, manganese, iron, nickel, copper, silver, zinc, cadmium, mercury, aluminum, tin, and lead.

I'm looking forward to getting this unit installed, but at the moment it has proved to be problematic for installing at our home. Tried to do it myself, but the setup is a bit challenging. A plumber came out and said the way our main water pipe comes into the house, we are going to need to reroute the pipes to find a suitable place to store these fairly large tanks. So I would recommend that you carefully look at your main water supply line where it comes into your house and make sure you measure the space and area where these pipes are located. So far it has been extremely effective on our hard water problems the incoming water from the well is about 75 grains ( very hard) and after the water softener it is at 2 grains. Very easy to install and I believe the water meter regeneration will save on salt as our old water softener regenerated every other day regardless of needing regeneration or not . We also purchased the UV light and hoping that it will eliminate the odor causing bacteria that we have had in the past in the hot water heater. I wanted away from bottled water and feel safe about drinking water at all. This system has delivered. It took a while for me to get used to the taste. I was used to the purified bottled water, and this tastes more like spring water to me. But determined to do this for myself, I hung with it. What I did not expect was the difference I have had in my life already. My skin seems more hydrated. I have in the past had an upset stomach from drinking water and this has not happened at all. I think it is softer and free of things not so good for the body. I did find after a week or so of use it started to leak. I was devasted. Then I turned the spout around and it stopped. The washers need to settle in I guess. I have mine set on the counter. I never did enjoy cold water. It gets used a lot. A major difference in my coffee. No bitter after taste. The WSP series spin down sediment filter is the first line defence to your appliances. It protects and extends the life of your standard filters by removing the large dirt, sand, and rust particles before they reach the rest of your plumbing system, including water softeners and expensive appliances. The WSP series is flushable and reusable. It is recommended to flush it regularly (daily or weekly), depending on the water usage, sediment amount and the hardness level. However, as hardness tends to form hard scale that clogs the screen, simple flushes may not be sufficient. When necessary, remove the stainless steel cartridge and clean it with a brush and/or soak it in vinegar. The WSP spin down sediment filter comes with a variety of options in micron size.Smaller microns allow less through, but to get most life and efficiency out of your filters it’s important to only go as small as you need. Differences in water quality and your water pressure affect the performance of the WSP.

we installed this water system about a year ago and noticed a drop in water pressure. We are kind of clueless when it comes to this stuff so we decided that it could be the filter ( which after reading should've been replaced at six months) . Install Instruction: 1) Turn off Water Supply 2) Press the water dispenser to release any pressure from the water line. 3)Turn off the ON/OFF valve water line that is to the left of the filters inside the unit. 4) Turn power off by unplugging of the power source. 5) Remove existing filter by turning it counterclockwise for it to release and pull out. 6)Install the new water filters by inserting them up and in and turn clockwise until locked in and align with label facing you. 7) Now you will turn the water supply in the dispenser to ON position. 8) Turn power of the unit back on by plugging in the unit. 9) Turn on Water Supply. 10) Press and hold the Filter Reset button for 3-5 Seconds 11) Dispense water and check for leaks.
