Product arrive quickly and free shipping. Price was similar to other venders (but the free shipping sealed the deal). Purchased to replace an older microwave - but the dimensions were a little different (higher unit - had to modify wall to accept the unit). Besides that the mounting holes and bracket were the same as an older unit (9 years older). Installation took 2-3 hours with two people. Works good and looks good above the range.. Randy. Lovely OTR microwave. However, buyers beware that if installing with 15 cabinets, you also need a bump out kit, which I didnt see mentioned anywhere till I opened the template that comes in the microwave box. This added part at an extra 100 is proving hard to find. May need to return the microwave. Margaret. Burlington, ON. Tue Feb 21 2023

From time to time we get distracted and forget the food in the oven, this unit will automatically begin to vent any smoke it detects, should you forget to turn the fan on. It’s not just a fantastic venting system, this Microwave comes loaded with features. With five built-in cooking settings, Potato, Pizza, Meat, Vegetables, and the classic Popcorn, you’re guaranteed to get perfectly cooked food with Danby’s Sensor cooking. The sensor detects humidity and turns off at the exact point when cooking is done. The sensor will also work for reheating food and beverages. With a soften/melt option you can get your butter just right for baking, or your ice cream for eating. If you’re in a rush you can defrost your food based on weight or time. For some added safety this unit comes with a child lock to prevent little fingers from playing with the buttons.

Product is what we needed as the kitchenette required a smaller microwave. Product arrived damaged but nothing would have indicated damage looking at packaging. The damaged parts (dents on both sides) were easily concealed when installed but that was also a bit of a hassle. My husband is an electrician & has hung quite a few microwaves, yet he wasn't a fan of the install. We tested after install, it works & no issues with the unit at the moment (not being used as we aren't moved in at the moment). We did contact Wayfair about issues, they contacted Danby on my behalf & Danby contacted me the next day. We came to a resolution & I'd definitely purchase a Danby product again based on their customer service.. Jana D. NC. Tue Nov 04 2025
