My cat absolutely loves this. We usually leave it standing up on its end (as it appears in the picture), and she likes to stand on her two hind legs, stretch her arms out and scratch away. Sometimes we leave it lying down, and then she likes to sit on it while scratching. We have several scratchers, and she uses them rather than our furniture. This pyramid scratching post is her favorite. It's large, and it's expensive, but we get our money's worth out of it. I've bought several because they wear out after 6-12 months, but I plan to keep buying more.. Lwt. Detroit, MI. Wed Aug 20 2014
