Im so excited to be able to pickup my sewing hobby after all these years..the kids are grown up and its now time for retirement, my husband the snook fisherman and me sewing mso the case is very nice and roomy. My new machine fits in perfectly!..it has a nice handle, I was worried since the case is made my single it might be labeled like this..its not. .it really dosent matter, but since my new machine is be eversewn..and the sale price was great,.it was more money in our local stores ..who could ask for anything better, I cannot think of one bad thing to say about this case, so yes I would recommend this. Just take you sewing machine measurements its very roomy, but not roomy enough to wear anything could bounce around

I miss the days when you purchased a sewing machine, and it automatically came with a hard sewing machine cover. Unfortunately, those days are over. I purchased the Janome 5122 sewing machine. To my dismay, it did not come with a carrying case as illustrated in the manual. Thankfully, Wayfair suggested I purchase the Singer Universal Carrying Case. It is perfect and I really love it. The case holds my machine, power cord and foot pedal. I don't even have to remove the thread because the carrying case is very tall and large. I waited to write this review because the handle felt unstable or flimsy. Surprisingly, the handle is stronger than it looks. I am able to transport my sewing machine without worry. However, when possible, I do place my hand underneath the carrying case to give it more stability.
