We use real wood and screws with plugs in our construction - not MDF, air nails, or Staples. Some minor assembly at home is required; instructions and hardware included. Overall dimensions of 36" W x 10" D x 32" H with three openings that allow for 33"W x 8.5"D x 9.25"H. We do not use highly processed wood, because of this, you can expect knots and minor imperfections that make each piece unique.

However, once the packaging was removed, the bookcase put in its proper place the matter of how to remove the wood wedges (placed on the left and right sides) holding the shelves in place became the major obstacle of frustration. It's like getting in your car to take a drive, you open the door, take a seat, put the key in the ignition, turn the key or push the button and nothing happens, looking at the gas gauge, you realize you have no gas. Went online to your website, located the item page, found there were instructions on how to remove the wedges. It’s like being stranded in the desert with no water and no camel. This is a solid and well constructed piece of furniture. Definitely furniture for life quality! It was also well protected during shipping (no damage) and the white glove delivery was top-notch. My issue is with Wayfair for not posting pictures of all of the colors. We ordered the smokey blue oak expecting a blue gray. It's definitely more light blue. We'll make it work--again, it's a top-notch piece of furniture. But I am super bummed about the color and wish we had ordered the medium oak instead.
