Really love the look of this headboard and it's just what I was looking for, but had I not had other spare, sturdier metal attachments to secure it to my metal bed frame, I would not be happy. The metal plates that came with the headboard were flat, too small, and the holes did not line up with the very standard holes in my metal base frame. I even tried zap-strapping and using different nuts and bolts, but the headboard was still able to move very freely back and forth. I ended up using the corner-shaped ones from a different bed in the house and now they keep the legs locked in place and I can lean on my pillow against the headboard without it tipping backwards..
