It’s a heavy, solid piece. I like that it can raise and lower. The metal that the glass piece sits on is slightly crooked which is very annoying but will ignore it!

Terrific floor lamp. Since the lamp top is clear glass, I added an antique looking bulb. You can change the bulbs to fit any decor you choose. It is slim therefore it fits perfectly in various spaces. When I move, I plan to use it in the officeden. Great buy!
