Each led light bulb has a pull string to turn it on and off. There is no wiring or any electrical outlets needed. Each uses 3 AAA size batteries (not included). Ideal low voltage lighting. The power output of LED light depends on the freshness and kind of batteries used. Alkaline batteries are recommended.
