Matheney Metal Platform Bed

Minimal yet refined, this is a durable (presumably) metal bed frame at a very cheap price! I am using this with a 13.5" Hybrid mattress, at the 11" height setting. It took me about an hour and a half following the instructions by myself, which could have been the quoted hour with extra hands and better organization. I really appreciated the clear instructions, and the extra hardware being in a separate sealed sachet for saving. Being a cheap bed, time will tell on quality, but there were a few nicks, dents, etc. out of the box, and the included Allen wrench was horrible quality, and completely stripped out after assembly. Highly recommend using your own. My built time crept up to 3 hours because I invested some effort into sound proofing. The metal slats lock in with plastic clips, but still rattle around in place, and make direct contact with the center bar. I put foam mounting squares on all the center slat contact points, and wrapped cushioned medical wrap around all the slat ends before inserting them. This resulted in a 100% quiet bed before putting the mattress on, and I would consider it worth the time.

Like construction.. good quality but eventhough it’s supposed to be queen size the width is off by 1/4-1/2 inch son one side rides on rail instead of in it

So cute for a farmhouse style bedroom. After time it became very squeaky though.
