Came in this morning. I ran it all day to make sure it was stable. My temp and humidity were correct. I had some eggs to put in for trial run. I was so excited with how nice it is I went to the auction and got more eggs so I could fill her up. So far I have seen it rotating the eggs and it seems gentle. The only issue I had was setting up the pump for the humidity. You only need to cut one piece of tube to go into the water bottle and follow the diagram for how to wind the tube. It kept popping off for me but I realized you wrap it and then put the cover on it and the cover will hold that piece in place. It’s not hard I just made it hard in my mind. You do hear it running compared to my still air incubator but it’s like a refrigerator if you listen for it you will hear it. Turning the eggs makes noise but not enough to be a concern. Fantastic little incubator if youre not doing huge hatch numbers or have large eggs to hatch. I used it for jumbo and button quail and it worked great. I could stuff quite a few eggs in there, it held humidity and temperature great. Very quiet as well. There are only a few things Id change. First is the cardboard ring to sit your eggs on. They roll all over the place with this. If I were to use it again Id make each egg a little ring or cup of some sort to set in. Second, Id recommend placing the incubator in a tub of some sort when its close to lockdown. Without walls to contain the chicks its like popping popcorn without a lid.
