With vibrant colours appearing out of dark backgrounds, this hand carved African wood mask will bring curiosity and contemplation to any environment. Ghanaian artist Moro Yakubu Monnie names this piece Yoo Bi Bio, which means "Little Woman."

Ghanaian designer Theophilus Sackey presents this fearsome mask that is made using local sese wood. Theophilus works with local artisans who cut and carve the wood into the stunning design, before painting and completing the mask with a distressed finish. Intricate, eye-catching textured aluminum repoussé metalwork adorns the mask's forehead, cheeks, and nose, with two amazing patterned wooden horns protruding from the top of the head.

With stripes of black and gold-tone, this striking mask is created by Joana Addo. She carves the mask by hand from sese wood, featuring intricate patterns. Sections of the face and forehead are accentuated by embossed brass that gleams with golden hues.

Hand-carved into the shape of Africa by artisan Rapheal L. Commey of Ghana, this beautiful wall art reflects the vibrant culture and music of Africa. Painted onto the sculpture in shades of red, blue, and green are musicians playing a drum, trumpet, and guitar.

This elaborate African mask from Ghana is hand-carved of local sese wood to depict a face with a beard and braided hair, accented with a crescent shape at the top. Christopher Nyasafo crafts the mask in the traditional style of Baule masks. The Baule tribe represents a subgroup of the Akan people in the Ivory Coast. Line motifs in the centre of the brow reflect scarification practises.
