My only disappointment is the misrepresentation of the tabletop material. The surface is not marble, but rather an epoxy finish designed to mimic marble. Visually, it does a fairly convincing job from a distance, but the highly polished sheen and the feel of the surface make it clear that it is not stone. To the touch, it feels more like plastic than marble. While I appreciate the durability and low-maintenance benefits that come with this type of finish, I wish Wayfair had been more transparent in describing the material. Had I known the tabletop was an epoxy composite rather than marble or stone, it would have influenced my purchasing decision.
