The rug is just as beautiful as its pictures. The rug is both soft and feels durable and the underside is very neat. I am using it with a rug pad for extra cushion and it works great even with a bit thicker of a pad. The rug is 100% wool so it sheds quite a bit at first, but I totally expected this having had all wool rugs in almost every room of my home for decades. I love this rug.
