I like this light a lot. The biggest selling feature was that the fixture could use six light bulbs. I was expecting the metal part of the light fixture to be flush with the drum shade. It is not flush at all. I took a screen shot of the stock photo used on Wayfair’s website and a picture of my (installed) light. I didn’t mind the drum shade not being flush so we opted to keep it, although, I would have preferred to have had the light come as pictured. The only other issue, if you can even call it that, is that if my kids are heavily walking in the room above, the light sounds like it’s rattling. The rattle is from the glass insert which sits on the metal portion of the frame of the drum shade. We are going to place something (small and clear) on the glass to add a little bit of padding. We figure that should do the trick.
(As an FYI, we spray painted the silver metal parts of the fixture a matte black to match our other light fixtures. Painting the fixture was a super simple solution for us because we like the light fixture and the amount of bulbs but didn’t like the color of the metal.). Melissa. St Albert, AB. Fri Jan 22 2021
