We first purchased one of these vents to see if it would work for our renovating and painting project of the outside of our house. We originally had inexpensive vinyl vents which were intended to be temporary (ended up to be around 20 years). We wanted to replace the old vents with something that would look a lot better. We were pleased with the first one we ordered; so we ordered three more to replace the remaining old vents. We decided to add a primer and high gloss white finish and they look great.
