I love the design of this table and the size. Its perfect for my soon to be diningkitchen area. We are renovating an older house and the Mid Century style will fit in great. The platform base is heavy duty black metal and even though the table top is not as dark as I viewed in the pictures, I love it even more! It seems to be a lighter pecan color which will go even better in the room! Over all its great quality for the price and I couldnt be happier with it !
