The chair is great looking and comfortable. So far, it works properly, we have only had it assembled and in use for 2 days. My only concern is that it does not have battery backup. I have had 4 other Power Recliners, all of them had a battery backup. This is a safety issue if the electric goes out and my disabled husband is in the reclined position in the chair, I have no way of getting him out of the chair! Since all 4 of my previous Power Chairs, one was a lift chair,the others were just recliners, had this safety feature, I thought that all electric chairs came with the battery backup.
