Nutcrackers are a classic addition to your Christmas décor collection. Sadly, nutcrackers do not store well. In containers with other items or nutcrackers, the fragile pieces easily break off from rubbing and bumping together. After a few years of packing nutcrackers away, the bottom of your storage container will have a layer of loose buttons, hats, and noses. Similarly, glass and porcelain figurine collectibles will also need to be stored carefully, and separated from other decorations for safekeeping. This is the second time I’ve purchased these nutcracker storage boxes. The standard size Nutcracker will fit in the slots but for the wider ones, you will probably have to take out one of the dividers so you have room. They are actually very nice and sturdy.. Cheryl.
