This has saved an older (6 year) Wayfair purchase and made it perfect for my purple room refresh! It also adds just enough height to make the storage bench a more easily accessible step up to my bed for my senior Siberian Husky girl. The cloth is durable and sturdy, yet pretty. Great quality. Exactly the size I ordered. Nice and firm. Fully fluffed 1 day after opening. I'm using this to create comfortable seating on my fireplace hearth. I think the 2.6" thickness would have been plenty thick for comfort and warmth even on a hard marble-like surface; beyond that it's more a matter of added height than cushiness. The cushion does not slide around even with little kids. It sticks out a little further than I wanted because I did not account for the heating unit sticking out a little bit, but that's on me..
