I have mixed feelings on this bed. It was kind of a pain to put together and the fabric on the back of the headboard ripped when we tried to install it. But we got it on and it’s fine. The bed is light weight but does seem sturdy. This bed is best suited for a teen or dorm room in my opinion. It’s not heirloom furniture but it does have its usefulness for the right situation. Being light weight makes it easier to transport and work with and having the cushioned wrap around the base will protect your shins from banging against the metal frame. The bed itself is very functional. Unfortunately either in the shipping or handling the box was either cut or damaged causing the piece that is the footboard to become damaged. It’s hardly noticeable and the trouble to return. It wouldn’t be worth it therefore, we decided to keep it and cover up the damage with bedding.
