The Nostalgia 4-quart Parlor Electric Ice Cream Maker worked very well. Ice Cream was well mixed and only used about 1 12 - 8 lb. Bags of ice to freeze at a soft-serve level. It took about 30 minutes to freeze. Probably 3 or 4 cups of rock salt. Remember to get extra bag of ice if you plan to pack the canister in the bucket and take on a picnic or other outing.
