We bought this pergola to cover a space that we use for an outdoor classroom. The end result is that it looks great, and it does keep the tables dry when it rains. I love that you can open it in sections. My only complaint is that it is a pain to put together. We had one handyman team quit because he was so frustrated. The next team had three guys, and they also said it was a pain even though they they only had to do half the work they still said it was a pain.. Kelly. Chicago, IL. Fri Oct 09 2026

I have nothing negative to say about this except that it is a foot shorter than most of the other pergola I was looking at. Its fine because none of us are 7 feet tall but the other ones are all around 8 feet tall like a ceiling. This ones only 7 feet tall. Other than that its very sturdy. My husband and I actually put it together by ourselves and we use the boys, our teenage sons, a couple times to help lift it and move it I would say overall it was pretty easy to put together just ted. It’s perfect for what I needed. I initially set out to find an aluminum model, but this one ended up being an excellent choice. It gets quite windy in my area, so I really appreciate the additional weight and stability. Assembly went fairly smoothly, although I did have to get a little creative when fitting some of the connectors that join the beams together (time waster for sure, better QA is needed). A good soft mallet definitely comes in handy for getting everything seated properly without damaging the parts. I was also missing one component when the package arrived, but the replacement was shipped within a couple of days. Fortunately, it wasn’t a part that prevented me from completing the assembly and there were no damaged parts. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase and feel it was a great fit for my needs.. Only assembled today so not final review, took a few hours with help from my wife. Parts labeled well, instructions clear enough, a couple of non-essential pieces were a little damaged in transit but didn't impact final product. Canopy colour is grey/purple which is fine, canopy material seems good if a little light. Worked for the space that we needed it. Delivery was good. Overall good value for money.. Eoin. AB. This pergola is available in all seasons, making your backyard beautiful all year round. Add an elegant and relaxing outdoor dining or entertaining space to your garden, pool, deck, patio or yard.

I have a very small patio and it gets so much sun I rarely use it. This was a good solution. I did add curtains (with velcro tabs) and some lights. Theres ONE tricky part when assembling, the part where the legs go into the frame have a slight slant, if theyre not in the correct corners, the legs go every which way! I had to take apart and move them, but wasnt bad. Would definitely help if you had 2 people to lift it and move it, but I managed on my own. Awkwardly.. Tracy. US. Sun Jul 26 2026
