Impressively easy to put together. All tools/parts included, all holes line up. No raw edges, unfinished metal or uneven finish. The wood finish has more yellow than it appears online but with some reddish tones. Finish is somewhat artificial looking but as long as it's not right next to a true antique it's fine. Works perfect in our hallway! We needed a thin landing piece for our garage door area.
