The Ottoman looks great and expanded perfectly. I did read the assembly instructions (they did not mention a blade) but unfortunately when I gathered all the plastic wrap to dispose of there was a blade that severed the tip of my finger. I could share the picture only if you care to see it. But, what I think is important is to warn people that there is this blade in the packaging and make it more visible/prominent to avoid future mishaps with customers. i really like this ottoman, it’s kinda Scandinavian but feels warm and cozy too. i got the 48″ size, big enough for me to stretch out after work, though sometimes i wish it was just a smidge lower than 17″ high for my short legs. the charcoal linen fabric is simple but nice-looking, it reminds me of my mom’s couch from childhood. it’s minimalist—no loud patterns, just clean lines. i use a mild detergent to spot clean and that works fine, the color stays even. the natural oak base peeks out and gives it a friendly, woodsy feel. i’m under the 250 lb limit and it’s sturdy enough for me to sit. not perfect, but it fits my space beautifully.. Very disappointed upon receiving this ottoman. First off, it’s NOT genuine leather as stated in the title of the product. It is bonded leather as confirmed by Wayfair when I questioned it. Bonded leather is not genuine leather. Bonded leather has a very small percentage of genuine leather in it. Google it. Second the off gassing of this ottoman is awful. It was wrapped tightly in plastic when delivered and the second I opened it up I knew that it was going to be a problem. Now the ottoman itself looks nice and is the size I need so I’m debating on keeping it. It will depend if it stops smelling like formaldehyde in the next few day. I have it outside on my patio hopefully airing out. I’m also sooo disappointed with the bonded leather vs genuine leather. I’m replacing my old bonded leather ottoman with now another bonded leather ottoman. I searched long and hard for a genuine leather ottoman and this one was the size I needed.
