This helps make floating floors sound more like fastened wood. Although it can be installed over wood or concrete subfloors, the quiet walk can manage moisture that surfaces in the form of vapours that naturally come up from concrete subfloors. Since quiet walk and concrete are both "breathable" capillary products, vapours that are emitted will never accumulate under the pad into harmful moisture, while the attached vapour barrier protects the overlying flooring from any attacking moisture. With quiet walk flooring underlayment, you get better moisture protection as the fibres manage serious moisture concerns.

Great product and excellent price. I shopped around for different underlayment and I found this at the best price for the quality. It was easy to roll out, measure and cut. We redid our entire first floor with LVP and this did a great job reducing the noise.
