Material: Crafted from 100% recycled premium aluminum composite panels that are 3mm thick. An aluminum composite panel is comprised of two sheets of aluminum (metal) sandwiched into a reinforced synthetic core. The benefits of this material are that it's lightweight making it easy to hang and it's 100% recycled. I wanted the matte black one, but out of stock. So, the next best thing: get the white one and paint it matte black. Then, right before I started to spray it, I had an idea. I taped over the peaks of the mountains and then sprayed it. And ouila!!! Snow capped mountains. The manufacturer should do this as another option. It turned out great. Well, at least I think so..
