The bed skirt is just as described. Nice velveteen--and well constructed. No wrinkles coming out of the package--so I did not have to iron. Fits the bed very well. While this bed skirt isn't cheap, it is a high quality item. I needed this for a high-visibility guest room on the main floor so I figured I should spend the $$ to get something nice.
