The underliner is designed to hold the platter. Handle Bon Chef melamine display ware like any quality ceramic display ware. Use only plastic soap pads or plastic bristles to remove dried foods. If necessary, you may presoak your melamine in a plastic safe solution. Do not place melamine in an oven or stovetop. Do not microwave. Do not use chlorine bleach. Do not use steel wool, metal scouring pads, or abrasive cleaners. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 200 degrees. Do not use serrated knives.
