The induction stove top controls switch off if any water splashes from the pot when you are boiling anything. The oven prong thermometer doesn’t work.

I'm actually surprised to see that they are still selling this stove. We bought ours back in 2020 so we didn't have many choices when our old stove broke. It is horrible to use. If any amount of moisture gets onto the touch screen, it is rendered useless until the moisture has completely evaporated. Think about how well your phone works in the rain. I've actually had the controls unlock themselves, and turn on when running a damp rag over it. Not safe. Also, we have to set the oven temperature at 50* higher than called for to bake properly.

Bought it 2 years ago and the problems started about 6 months ago .. when you turn on the front left the lights of rear left turn on as well and it doesn’t stop flashing, if we use stove at the same time as the top the oven turns off by it self

I am one of three in my friend group that own this range, we all love it. So easy to use, three ways to use the dials for the burner, oven is exceptional, and because it's induction, the glass top is soooooooo easy to keep clean. I wasn't super excited about he wifi feature, but absolutely love it now......my two faves are, sends a notification to my phone when the oven reaches temp and when the timer is complete. Best of all, right on the stove touch you can access and 1-800 for any kind of help.....wait for it......both times they answered within three rings and did not transfer me to another person/deparmtent. My both times my questions where about access a function on the stove and how to a setup wifi. That kind of customer service almost alone makes it worth buying the stove.

PUBLIC SAFERY ALERT! THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED BY GE IMMEDIATELY! On two separate occasions in the few months of owning this stove, water has boiled over onto the stove causing a massive safety hazard. The exceptionally dangerous chain of events starts with the pot being suctioned to the induction top not allowing you remove it from the heat. The water then spills onto the touch controls deeming them inoperable! Running down to the electrical panel to turn the power off is the only way to prevent serious injury! This is not the only report of the same scenario GE.

I bought my GE induction range In June of 2020. I had it installed in September of the same year. After 2 and half years of use I had the whole range top replaced (7 months ago) and now it has quit again. After the initial break down, I tried to protect my range my not using it as much. Over the pass 3 months I hardly used it at all. This product has problems which GE is not owning. I will not buy another GE product because of the lack of reliability and support from GE.
