Really wanted to love this combo because I loved the concept of one unit but it has become my biggest appliance purchase regret ever. Problems didn't really show up until a little over a year when the lint build up becomes a real issue because no mater how many different brushes you try, how many times you clean the filer screen and change the foam filter, it is virtually impossile to adequately clean the lint inside the machine through the incredibly small 1" x 7" opening when you remove the filter and that is the only access point you have - and shining a flashlight into the opening while also using a brush to get lint out is an exercise in futility and a joke. . Lint gets through the filter and builds up on the coils, which you can't possibly clean either. Linit also builds up and dries onto the areas to the left of the opening, which are nearly impossible to reach as well. The filter system on this machine is really inadequate, which I beleive is the cause of all the problems. Clothes will now take forever to dry, machine seems to get stuck in the load sensing mode for 3-5 or more hours in the drying cycle without drying the clothes - which is not good for your clothes or energy efficient. You have to stop the machine, and restart it on timed drying so it doesn't run all day. And then you start getting the dreaded fault code 353 which shows up on a regular bais and shuts your machine down. Purchased the extended warranty, had a tech show up and told me nothing was wrong with my machine and when questioned about the lint issue - he told me lint wasn't covered! Salesman told me this technology what relatively new in the US but has been around for years in Europe, and that may be true, but there are some serious design flaws with this system in these machines which doesn't bode wll for the life of a machine that was rather expensive. Worked great for the first year, but I definitely would not purchase this machine again ;-( Appreciate the response, but where praytell am I supposed to find this brush that will work, as it needs to be extremely long, have a right angle and be less than 1" wide to fit in the actual opening? And just for the record, appliance brushes do not work at all as they do not reach the areas that the lint builds up in - they only remove a smal amount of the built up lint. What you really need to address is the inadequate design that allows the lint to build up in so many places without an adequate way to access those areas and mitigate the problem.

I absolutely love my new laundry combo and would have given 5 stars except my first machine had some major issues in that it wouldn’t work. After the third time the technicians were here I refused any more “fixes” and to send me a new one or come snd get it and I’d get something else. In the end, after more than a month having to go to the laundromat I was finally able to do laundry at home. I’m not sure whether it was GE that provided the replacement but think it was actually my vendor who took the loss. I didn’t want a machine that was a lemon from the get go especially for what they cost. Who knows what was potentially affected by the whole ordeal or even develop another issue. All that being said, I’m extremely pleased with the machine. Not having to add detergent or softener every load and the anti wrinkle cycles are great and I can still add odour crystal for the loads I chose to. It does work with the internet some how but I’ve not gotten that far yet. Contra to what a lot of people apparently believe it DOES dry perfectly and DOES NOT take eons to do a load. Oh and with the extra space I’ve gained I now have somewhere to store my vacuum and broom. I doubt I could ever go back to a side by side or stacked system and hopefully won’t ever have to make that decision.

Absolutely hideous product. It started having serious issues the moment it was out of warranty that are insanely expensive. While the product is promising, I would heavily recommend avoiding it.

Our washer dryer combo works great. We are really enjoying it. We are a retired couple. I love putting a load of towels in and coming back and they are finished. I also like that it holds the detergent and softener and adds them automatically. These features are easy to shut on and off. Over all the machine is easy to use.I gave it four stars because of the vibration. When spinning it makes a lot of noise.

Love this product is perfect for me ..and save space no heat
