It is for my new build. The electrician had to cut the cord and hardwire it (therefore voiding the warranty) to be able to install it in the custom vent cover because it’s against code in Ontario to have an outlet in an inclosed area. Seems to work although haven’t moved in yet to truly know. And have not put the grates on yet.
