Core Zephyr 30" 600 CFM Under Cabinet Range Hood AK6500CW

This is a very well built range hood. Plenty of power for clearing smoke from frying and steam from hot pots. Reduction of odors from the kitchen while cooking are noticeable! Light is plenty bright and even on the highest setting, fan noise is not objectionable. Black stainless color blends well with other similar colored appliances in our kitchen from GE, Samsung, and KitchenAid. Only concerns are that you absolutely should inspect both the box and appliance prior to installation. Ours arrived with a large and noticeable dent in the hood that could not be repaired. Wayfair support was helpful swapping this. Carefully inspected the new unit prior to installation. No issues. Note this does not come with a 110v cord. If your installation is using a 110v outlet for power, you will need to purchase a grounded appliance cord separately. Note that photos were taken with light on brightest setting. Powerful, especially considering its compact size! Looks nice and fits in well with my stainless steel appliances. Plus, it’s mom approved.

The description was not clear. I am still waiting for the supplier to get back to me. I wound up ordering another hood that explained it clearly.

Purchased the black stainless Zephyr range hood and it’s a very good match for our LG refrigerator and Samsung range, which are both in black stainless as well. We really like the simplicity of this design. Very clean lines. Also, it’s not loaded up with a lot of unnecessary digital doodads—just a simple onoff switch for the high and low light settings. Same for the three fan settings. In my opinion, this will likely mean fewer things can go wrong or need repair. The lower setting is extremely quiet but efficient. The highest setting is loud but is there when you need a heavy duty, rapid exhaust. The Wayfair Angi installer was prompt, professional, and did a clean installation. This was a nice service and a lot easier than having to search and wait for a handyman or a contractor.

It's what we need. I'm glad its supposed to be 20 dB quieter than the one we're replacing. I'll try to update with details after it's installed.
