Great and convenient cooktop that can be used with a gas OR propane. The knobs are easy to turn on and off. Flame is easy to control for low or high fire, depending on what you're cooking. We got this gas range to replace our older one as the dimensions were what we needed. The look is squared and gives a modern feel to a kitchen. The material is of a high quality. The area that contains splashes and drips is fairly shallow, so it will need to be maintained clean, or spill over will be certain. The only thing I will need to get used to is the rack is very close to the gas knobs, and I’m afraid they will get hot during use and could pose a burn hazard. The instructions included leave much to be desired especially if you’re doing the propane conversion instead of natural gas hookup. The cast iron covers are rough enough to scratch up the bottom of pots, and the stainless steel is thin and easy to scratch so this would not hold up for heavy kitchen use but more likely lighter outdoor kitchen use instead. I will be using this Gas Cooktop indoors. I very much like it because it fits exactly where I am using it. However, the rubber hose with clamp attachments for accessing the propane line are not safe for indoors. My gas installation people will properly attach it with metal to the profane line.
