All in all we like the hood, but for the price there were some issue. For one, two sides of the column had a smoother brushed finish than the other two. Also, some small specs of rust have appeared on the finish. If I had to guess I would say some iron particles were left behind by the brushing process. The XOMI island hood is a beautiful combination of glass and stainless steel in a modern design. The hand-blown curved glass allows plenty of natural light to filter down to the cooking surface.
