We've had this set for less than a year, and one of the steps cracked just a few months in, so we had to leave the door of the step above it open to reinforce it. Then yesterday the stair collapsed entirely. It's made of cheap particle board, and we're already having to look for a new one. Don't waste your money.

Nice quality and allow time to put them together.

I'm happy with the bunk bed. But my kids are ecstatic. They were celebrating it for like 30 minutes. And the best part is they sleep better now. Putting it together was as difficult as advertised and due to my fitness level, I was sore for days after. The instructions were thorough, though could have been better as some steps could be merged with later ones to make the construction easier to accomplish. And the slats portion could be improved significantly as some were shorter than others. Those steps also didn't convey that the position of each wasn't fixed. So I had to measure the bed frame and put marks down to ensure I did it evenly. I would have expected markings on the frame to indicate where the slats would go. Still, I did finish it and the result was what I expected. Definitely recommended.

Great quality easy to follow instructions. Give yourself time to assemble, it’s a beast. A 3 box beast.

My girls love their new bed! It did take 8 hours to assemble. (I did do it alone) Directions were pretty easy to follow. We did end up "reco figuring the side the stairs were on and the lower bunk and desk which was nice! The lower bed is not attached so you can easily move it out to clean or make the bed. My biggest complaint is that ALL the bolts are exposed and to me its just super tacky. Even the desk drawers have giant bolts visible. You can see them in the photo but I honestly thought they were loke flower stickers of some sort. I think we will just paint them white to try to hide them the best we can. Also when assembling the bottom step if you wish to use as storage leave out one of the panels the bottom step does not open like the others. One more thing they send ZERO extra harware the #6 nuts we were missing 2 and 2 didnt have a thread so waiting on those to be shipped.
