Poor QA by manufacturer. holes for screws wrong size or misaligned. That said my husband drilled new holes and used different hardware and was able to get the bed together but it took 8 hours with 2 people having to make the adjustments to complete the bunk bed portion and another hour for the trundle. Not a high quality item but it’ll be ok for the grandchildren when they visit. Paint quality is poor not something for full time use in my opinion

Very awesome bed! Very sturdy for children that jump on beds. The only thing I can say is the doors on the steps should have better fasteners. They sometimes come open when they climb the stairs. Also the wood rails to hold the mattress causes splinters so maybe prep them or use a different material.

My children absolutely love their bunk bed. We use the bottom trundle to store bedding and the storage in the steps for games and toys. The color was as described. (Stickers not included!)
