Amodio Solid Wood Platform Bed with Panel Footboard & Trundle

I wish that this twin bed frame was a bit more adult looking. The design is ok, could be a bit sturdier. Overall I’m a bit neutral on this purchase.

Great trundle bed for kids room.

Very good quality and extremely well packaged. Easy to assemble. The only thing I added was teflon glides on the main section.

Exactly as pictured. It shipped quickly and we put it together in an hour (with allen wrench drill bit!- huge time saver!). Nice, sturdy and for the price was a great buy. I took the advice of the posting and ordered a 14" mattress for the top. It is tall, but it does look just like the pic. Also, when you order this height mattress it doesn't leave a gap below the headboard and top of the mattress. Not so much an issue if you have it against a wall, but if you want your pillows to stay put, 14" is necessary. You cant use 14" mattress for the trundle. Its only a 10" opening so 8" max (with bedding) for it to fit properly. This is not suggested on the details, specs, and it should be. The only issue I had was one of the drill holes (for the trundle stopper) don't line up exactly so we had to drill our own hole to make the boards be even and not scrape our floor when we pull the trundle. It was a minor fix but still something we had to do.

Love the look. This was pretty easy to assemble, though not quick. Trundle rolls easily even on carpet.
