The bedding is heavy and very soft. My daughter loves it. It will be perfect for winter. I wouod say it is too heavy for summer right now. However, the colors are true to the picture. I have not yet washed it, so I am unsure of how it handles after a wash, but for now I would highly recommend for all your girly girls out there.
