The quality of the wood is solid, however, the bed was damaged during shipping. I am having difficulty getting Wayfair to take responsibility and send a replacement of the damaged items. Be very wary before purchasing from Wayfair.

This bunk is heavy duty! I paid extra to have it assembled, so worth it. If I could change one thing it would be to get a mattress on the top bunk that wasn't as heavy. It's a real job to change the sheets with the awkwardly heavy hybrid mattress I ordered.
