I ordered these bunk beds in July when they product was in stock after eyeing for a while. I ordered the product and it was expected to be delivered in 2 weeks. When the product is suppose to ship I get another email it’s now on “back order” and won’t ship for another 3 weeks. So frustrating but waited it out. It then took another 2-3 weeks after it shipped to actually receive it! Was NOT happy about waiting that long. The bunks came in 8 boxes, I was overwhelmed for sure. My husband and I unpackaged all the boxes and hauled everything piece by piece as we needed it. It only took myself (20 weeks pregnant) and my husband 2 hours to put together !!! unfortunately, when putting together there was 2 damaged pieces of wood. When we got to the step portion all the hardware was labeled wrong taking much longer to figure out which hardware we needed to use. After all said and done we are happy with the product. I can’t say I would wait 2 months again for bunk beds and then have damage/parts mislabeled.

Incredibly sturdy and beautiful. Not too difficult to put together but it does take two people. Very high quality that’ll last a long time.

We were impressed with the quality in construction. Once assembled it is very sturdy and solid. We chose this one over others due to its higher weight capacity rating. We are so glad we did because all three kiddos have enjoyed being up top. The drawers are very high quality and open/close extremely smooth. And they came assembled! As far as assembly, it took my husband and older boys about 3-4 hours. Overall, after about a month of use, we are very pleased with our purchase.

Okay to start off with, we have a 3 year old boy and a 5 year old girl so I can't tell you how happy I was to unbox pre-assembled drawers and simple instructions. The fit and finish exceeded expectations. Being able to customize what side the stairs reside on makes this a flexible piece of furniture. The unit is sturdy and sound, no squeaks or rattles. Lots of headroom on the upper bunk. Recommend 8" foam/gel mattress for upper bunk so that guard rail provides lots of protection. See photo.

Very happy with this purchase. I don't normally write reviews, for online purchases, but thought I would write one to help out others who are trying to make a decision. I needed a bunk bed for two 9.5" thick FULL SIZE mattresses I already had for my two children 7 and 5 years old. I have to put my 5 year old on the top bunk because my oldest sleep walks at night. So the biggest concern was safety for my 5 year old. I purchased this bed because it had stairs, not a ladder to climb up and down at night when she's half asleep. The rail on the upper bunk is VERY high. After putting a 9.5" thick mattress on the upper bunk, there's still a good 5.5" worth of rail above the level of the mattress. Seems like a really adequate amount of rail for safety to prevent falling off of the bed -- this was my #1 concern. As for the quality of the bed, it is very beautiful piece of furniture. I got the walnut stained model. The stain is very nicely done. There are no visible knots in the wood. It seems very solid. The only knock I have on the bed is that I'd like to see a better way to attach the staircase to main be frame without having to go through the back. Very hard to screw them together on the backside and push the entire unit up against a wall over carpet. I ended up not doing this. There are a couple of screws on the front side which I felt were comfortable enough for now to keep them attached. One of the most impressive things about this bed is the quality of the packaging used in the shipment. I have ordered shipped wood furniture plenty of times and more often than not, it shows up scratched, dinged, dented, cracked. A big reason is insufficient cushion and packaging inside. I hate seeing all this packaging waste material, but when you're paying over $1K for a piece of furniture, you don't want it dinged up out of the box. I have never seen so much cushion and padding as I have seen in these furniture boxes. Best way I can describe it is that this is the gold standard of furniture packaging. Happy with this purchase for the price all things considered. The kids LOVE it!
