This has to be the CUTEST toddler bed I’ve ever seen! Everything came in one heavy carton, including instructions AND the tool needed to assemble. Assembly itself took “UNhandy Me” about one hour. The pieces are large and the instructions detailed and clear. The manufacturer also included extra screws (Thank you!) The bed itself is Super Cute! It is a little girls dream - sleeping in Santa’s sleigh. I ordered the pink. The color is a beautiful pink color - just as shown in the photos. The bed is said to be made of solid pine, it is lightly padded and upholstered in soft pink velvet and trimmed in fluffy white faux fur. The large pieces are identical in height, width and thickness, making everything symetrical, solid and sturdy. The material is pristine clean with pristine bright white faux fur - hopefully will wipe clean easily! All the upholstery seams are straight, tight and even. There is not a bulge, pucker or blemish anywhere on the upholstery - that would be on ALL the seams inside the bed and the outside! Craftsmanship on this is wonderful. I love the natural wood of the sleigh skis (). These give the perfect elevation to the bed. The natural color brings out the pink color while keeping the space peaceful and calm. This bed is so much nicer than any toddler bed I’ve seen. Instead of the common cold metal or wood rails, I love that the soft sleigh sides Are the rails. Also the sides are high enough to keep any light out of her eyes. Big Plus - You do not need a box spring or anything with this sleigh bed. It comes with solid wood slats that are already attached together like a ladder. They are perfectly placed for full mattress support with no sagging. All you do is lay them in. DONE! No bolts or screws. These slats stay in place with good Strong Velcro, which is already applied. After complete assembly the sleigh bed is solid. There’s no wiggling or movement of any kind in the frame. Again, this is such a pretty bed, extremely solid and very unique which really makes this such a treasure to own. Was going to give only three stars but my daughter actually loves it so I gave it four stars. I ordered the pink bed. Wayfair sent me the gray one after all the other pink beds were sold out without informing me. The bed would have been extremely simple to assemble if I had only needed the Allen wrench that came in the box however I also needed a screwdriver. Save yourself some time and have a power drill ready.
