Once put together, the bed frame is great and exactly what we wanted. The loss of a star has to do with shipment (the bed came in 2 boxes and they arrived 3 days apart) and difficulty to assemble. Updated Review - the manufacturer reached out regarding the defects and has made a commitment to make it right. The bed itself barring the obvious damage on arrival went together okay. Love this bed for my 6 year old. He’s been so excited about his new big boy bed. The LED lights are a fun addition to the bed, and his favorite part. He’s still small enough to sit underneath comfortably. The available storage serves as a perfect replacement for a dresser. However, because it’s a low loft bed the drawers are annoying to get to. This modern loft bed combines comfortable sleeping with versatile storage and functional space-saving design. Featuring open shelving, drawers, convenient side storage, and a built-in wardrobe, it provides plenty of room for toys, clothing, and everyday essentials. The 23.6"H guardrail creates a higher, more secure sleeping area, while the two-tier design makes efficient use of vertical space. The area underneath can be transformed into a study zone or dressing area, while the stairs add a fun, kid-friendly touch.

We purchased this bed for our 9 year old and it's certainly not the quality we expected for the price. The drawers, which on the Wayfair website image are smooth and one piece - making the stairs look seamless, are a misrepresentation of the actual product. In reality the fabric boxing is oddly stitched making the stairs look choppy and cheap. In addition, there are big silver bolts on the front of the pink bed frame not shown on any of the Wayfair images. Lastly, this bed is very unstable, despite following all instructions and bolting to wall. Even with the extremely high amount of bolts that were required to assemble the bed - it bed shakes with only an 85lbs child on it. I would not recommend this bed, especially for anyone over 50lbs.. Anonymous. Mon Oct 05 2026

The bunk bed is crafted from solid wood sourced from plantation-grown timber, which emphasizes sustainability and responsible forestry practises. The wood undergoes a wire brush finishing technique that enriches and brings out the inherent grain patterns. As a result, each component of the bunk bed boasts a distinct and unique grain pattern, making every piece visually special and one-of-a-kind. Notably, this solid wood bunk bed features side rails that exceed industry standards, measuring over 1 inch in thickness and 5 inches in width. These class-leading dimensions ensure exceptional sturdiness and durability, contributing to the overall robust construction of the bed. The wire brush finishing method not only enhances the natural grain but also adds a textured surface, providing a rustic and charming appearance. This particular aesthetic appeal aligns with a trend towards showcasing the natural beauty of wood, making the bunk bed an attractive and durable choice for a bedroom setting.

This bed is solid and heavy. It is all wood and very well made. Not too tall, just right. It does have 3 stair drawers which are a little tall for some little ones. It took me just by myself about 6 hours to build, not bad for the amount of pieces. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. They give the exact amount of hardware that you will need, so don't loose a single screw or you will need to head to the hardware store. Overall I am super happy with the bunk bed but my kids are even happier.. Anonymous. Tue Aug 13 2024

Everything is good enough. It is very sturdy. There were a couple of really annoying instructions-related mistakes I made that are obvious once you get far enough in the assembly process but not obvious when you're just following the instructions. There is a velcro thing that's not on the right side of something, and there is no way the something should be flipped because it's bolted in a specific way. Not super consequential. The biggest issue, and the reason I almost returned, is a huge gap between the headboard shelves and the top of the mattress. Like a kid's head sized gap. My kid moves all around in her sleep, and clearly a lot of kids do, hence the railing-- and it's not out of the realm of possibility that she'll get her head into this gap, so I have to stuff pillows in there to secure it. The LED light cords are also right behind the gap (not in pic bc they weren't hooked up yet) which isn't ideal. Silly design flaw here, imo. There should just be something that closes this gap..
