The printed side with the moons is way more of a beige color then grey, but the reverse solid side is definitely grey. They were $35! so I am keeping them. They are going in our RV. I will just put a bunch of pillows in blue and grey and hope the beige does not bother me too much. I have not washed them yet, so they are a little stiff, but again $35!!! deal!

I’ve spent over a year looking for a well-made comforter that meets my needs, and this set is it! If you wonder WHY, here are my reasons. It has a lightweight fill, making it a true all-season comforter IF you get hot easily and/or live in the South. In my case, both are true. If the temperature should drop really low, I may add a blanket. The reversible comforter and shams are really soft and comfortable. The shams are NOT quilted nor made of stiff fabric, but the same fabric as the comforter. If you want stiff, heavy shams, these will disappoint — but I don’t mind a slightly “sloppy” sham. I’m pleased with the coverage of the “queen” comforter on my full bed. For reference, my bed is a 12-inch Serta hybrid and needs no box springs. I hope this info and photo help you judge how a queen-size comforter may look on your full or queen bed. The half-moon pattern is appealing, and the light gray color on the reverse side is a “soft” gray. The colors in the folded-back cooling blanket shown at the bottom of the bed are navy and blue stripe, with a solid blue-gray reverse. I’m not a decorator nor a photographer, but hope the contrast in the photo may help you decide how well the comforter works with your own decor.
