To be fair, this is the first time in my life I have owned linen sheets. They are, in my opinion, perfect. I don't love the feel of sateen sheets, and was worried that these would be rough. Not at all; they have a great texture and feel wonderful at the end of a day. It is beyond me how people get them to be less wrinkly, so if that is a concern for you, maybe avoid. These sheets are not particularly thick. The pillow cases barely hold a standard sized pillow. The top sheet only overhangs the top of the bed by 10 inches on each side so there is not a whole lot of extra sheet width. The elastic all the way around the fitted sheet is a really nice feature.
