THE SMELL! COMFORTER SMELLS TERRIBLE! Like vinegar and potting soil. Washed it 3x but it was still palpably stinky. That said, this is probably the most comfortable, luxurious comforter ever, so we kept it, put up with it for the first few weeks. Within a month, the smell had fully passed, and no we just get to enjoy how comfortable it is. -1 star for the unfortunate initial smell, otherwise this would be a 5-star purchase. If you're able to air this out fully somewhere else before install, it's worthwhile.
